I submitted my information on a general website to get a $5,000 loan. About a week later, I was emailed by a Melissa Boyd with Superior Lending Limited. Here is the email below:

So, or coarse, I called her and got her voicemail. I received no return call from her, so I, again, called her 2 days later and left another message. She called me back the next day around 7:30 pm which I thought was a little strange because banking hours are usually 9-5.

Nevertheless, she advised me I was approved for a $5,000 loan which was repayable at $228.42/month, 9% interest, for 24 months. She also said that since this was a secured loan, she would need me to Western Union $700 to Kayla Samuels in Tilsonburg Ontario, Canada for the insurance. She even offered to look up the closest Western Union location to my home.

After she went through the details of the loan, she advised she would email me the loan documents to review and sign and send back with a copy of my drivers license, social security card and paycheck stub/proof of employment.

At this point, I asked her if she was able to just deduct the $700 insurance fee from my bank account. She said, "Unfortunately not. These funds would need to be sent by Western Union, but once the loan is set up, we can deduct the monthly payments from your account". I thought that was a little strange.

So this morning, I did some research on Superior Lending Limited; I found a couple reports on ripoffreport.com, nothing on BBB's website, and nothing when I did a google search.

Thankfully, I haven't sent any money or documents to them.
