I was offered an opportunity to receive discounted toner cartridges if I purchased in bulk. I was faxed a form for 8 (2 cases) with the discounted price. I signed it and returned. Three months later I was told that I was obligated to a total of 24 in order to get the price that I received on the original 8, otherwise I would be billed for the original price. Needless to say, I felt obligated to save my company the money and consistently ordered (even when we didn't need it).

After a change in staff, the new person dealing with accounts was contacted and has attempted to close this account for over a year, only to be convinced if you take this one, you will have met the obligation. However, it didn't stop with the 1, they kept calling saying that we had not met the obligation of 24 and that they would give cases of paper in lieu of toner. After a reconciliation of the account it was discovered that we had received and paid for 37 cartridges and 12 cases of paper, while trying to bring conclusion to this account. We have refused to accept anything from them and they are still saying that we have not met the original obligation of 24 cartridges and they would back bill us at the original cartridge amounts. They were told that we would not pay any bill that they send.
