 I CALLED MONTOUR OIL(SUPERIOR PLUS) TO FIX MY FURNACE IN NOVEMBER. THEY CHARGED ME $407 DOLLARS TO REPLACE A BUNCH OF STUFF THAT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. IN THE BEGINNING OF JANUARY THE FURNACE STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. I CALLED THEM AND THEY CHARGED ME ANOTHER $200 DOLLARS TO GET IT RUNNING FOR TWO WEEKS AND IT QUIT AGAIN. I CALLED THEM TO COME BACK BECUASE THE PARTS AND LABOR WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE A ONE YEAR WARRENTY, BUT THEY SAID THEY WOULDN'T CHARGE ME THE $89 DOLLAR SERVICE FEE TO CHECK IT. THE TECH CAME AND TOLD ME IT NEEDED A NEW MOTOR AND THEY WOULD CHARGE FOR THE MOTOR BUT NO LABOR. I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY FOR THE MOTOR( 5 SMALL KIDS AT HOME) SO I CALLED MY CHURCH AND THEY OFFERED TO PAY FOR THE MOTOR. THE TECH THEN SAID I DIDN'T NEED A NEW MOTOR AND THERE WAS JUST A PROBLEM WITH THE THERMOSTAT (WHICH I HAD PURCHASED SOMEWHER ELSE BECAUSE I WAS GOIN TO PUT IT IN MYSELF) AND HE WIRED THE THERMOSTAT UP(2 WIRES) AND THEY WENT BEHIND MY BACK AND SENT MY CHURCH A BILL FOR ALMOST $200 DOLLARS. I AM REALLY CONSIDERING CALLING A LAWYER.

One month after the last call, it stopped working again. I have been afraid to call back because I can't afford another rip off service call!!!

I am writing from Superior Plus Energy Services to better explain what was done & assure anybody reading this that we Superior Plus Energy is a fair and reputable company.

The 1st call was on 11-15-13. Our Technician found the transformer was bad, we also replaced the nozzle and the pump screen & tested all operation. 

The 2nd call was on 1-2-14, we found the unit had high ohms, we sprayed the blast tube to get the ohms down to an acceptable level, we adjusted the air, we also replaced a cracked burner head. These 2 calls were un-related.

The last call was on 1-15-14, we found that the thermostat was recently installed by someone else and was installed wrong, the wires were not stripped or connected and also the protective tape was not removed. The unit was also loaded up with oil from someone hitting the reset button more than once and it took about 45mins. to clean out. We talked to the Church & they approved us to do this work. These 3 calls were un-related.

In late January we talked to the person who wrote this complaint and got everything rectified.
