We were initially contacted by Superjet Van Lines on January 29, 2013 after entering our information on www.budgetvanlines.com. We obtained a quote which seemed extremely fair to us and we placed a $1k deposit toward our move and were told that we will be required to place an additional deposit of approximately $700 before our move date can be finalized. Our total move would cost us approximately $5,600 to relocate from Las Vegas, NV to El Paso, TX. I worked something out with Pete who is one of the sales managers that we could pay the remaining deposit on February 15th as our move was not scheduled until February 22nd.

On January 2, 2013 we had to cancel the move due to a change in our circumstances and we requested a refund of our deposit. The verbiage on our contract stated that we are entitled to a full refund if cancelation was made at least 5 business days prior to the move. Not only was the Jason (the person we spoke with at that time) extremely rude, but he basically told us that we would only receive a refund of $150. At this point, we contacted an attorney for advise and were advised to file a BBB report, a complaint with the NJ Attorney General's office, and anyone else that would listen.

We filed the report and received notification from the BBB that Superjet Van Lines was contacted regarding our complaint. Within hours we were called by Superjet stating that we acted pre-maturely and our money will be returned to us as stated in their contract, but that they couldn't talk to us because we said we were contacting an attorney. The person who identified themselves as the owner stated that the check was already sent out, but then said that he wouldn't send out the check to us until we remove our complaints. One week later, we have not received our deposit back and are in the process of filing a law suit.

It is my belief that the company is very comfortable telling people they will refund their money if they remove all complaints from websites, etc. This may be why you are unable to find negative reviews of superjet! I refuse to move any complaints unless ordered to do so by a judge. This is still a free country and I am free to express my dissatisfaction with a company that has shoddy business practices. I would not trust these lying scoundrels with a penny of my money!
