Superpages will lure you in with a web-hosting contract that promises that they will market and promote your website.
They charge an outrageous monthly fee but don't make an effort into promoting your site.
Their efforts are all about luring in new suckers rather than actually delivering on their promises to current customers, or improving their technology.
They send out bogus activity reports which falsely claim how many "clicks" they've brought to your site, and when you call tem on their lies they will tell you it wasn't about clicks to your site but how many people see your add on their ridiculous online directory, (something you obviously can't validate), ....and this contradicts what their activity reports claim.
And it's odd that I'm supposedly getting 30+ visitors a month to my superpages listing but almost NO ONE actually clicks on my web site URL.... BS!
Everything from their outdated web building and editing tools, their messed up online directories, to their false claims of web site promotion tell me that this company is a SCAM.
I won't even get into how they tried to sell me an "upgraded" platform for more $$ per month, which turned out to be inferior to the one I already had with them.
It took weeks and several phone calls for me to get off that new expensive platform, and the rude person that spoke to me from "customer support", told me that soon I "would have no choice anyway".
I feel that they've been stealing money off me for years.
I would stay away from supermedia/superpages.com
