Supply Distribution & Information Network Ripoff, toner scam Los Angeles California
I received two calls in one day from SDIN about one month ago. The first caller said a co-worker of mine (they referred to him by name) had ordered a black toner cartridge for a Minolta 2200 laser printer. He even knew the model printer although we had quit using it months ago.
They shipped the toner to us without trying to charge it to a credit card. First of all, my co-worker never ordered it and had never heard of this company. They then accused me of placing the order, which I didn't.
Now they want me to pay an 18% restocking fee (18% of $300 for an $80-$100 cartridge) to return it.
