Support-A-Soldier Fraudulent Website preying upon non suspecting Donors! TAMPA, Florida
BEWARE! It has been brought to our attention that a website is illegally using the Support A Soldier Organizations name. Support-A-Soldier.com is in
no way related with the Support A Soldier Organization (SAS) or any of its affiliates. We are taking legal measures to ensure that this site is investigated and prosecuted for copyright infringement and other possible criminal activity.
We have attempted to verify the legitimacy of this website but have failed to do so, so it is our conclusion that the individuals established a website to mirror the legitimate Support A Soldier website so that they could prey on unsuspecting individuals for monetary donations.
For our supporters safety we suggest that they verify any charitable organization's status via GuideStar, the Internal Revenue Service or a Goverment Agency that regulates charitable orgnizations.

This is the must disgusting thing I have ever heard of. It's bad enough to scam people out of their money but to pose as charity that helps men and women serving their country that just too scummy. I hope those b*&*&s get put away for a long time.
The real Support-A-Soldier seems like a great organisation by the way.
