Supreme Brands false advertising La Jolla California
I was offered a free trial for the cost of shipping and handling fee.
When I received the package I was informed that I had 15 days trial which 12 of them were gone. Plus, if I kept the product I would be billed $78.91.
I called the company they told me if I didn't want the product I could send it back at my expense and would not be billed for anything else.
Now I'm out the original shipping, the product and the cost of shipping it back.
I think it's grossly unfair and I want people to be aware.

I work for a company that was hired by this company to deal with customers who call in to ask questions or cancel their membership. I'm not going to defend the company as they do not spell everything out for you, but PLEASE take a little bit of responsibility when you are on the internet. All of the details of the membership, cost of the product, shipping, returning of the product, etc are listed on the website. You can go to:
www.supremeone.com
Then click the Vital Acai link and then the Terms and Conditions link at the bottom of the page. Everything is listed right there.
Does the site clearly spell everything out at the top of the page in huge fonts? No, of course not. It's not the best way to do business, but YOU have to do some investigating before you throw your credit card information out there on the internet. You would not believe how many calls we get from people who have deleted the confirmation email (which ALSO has the terms and conditions and order info in it) and also have thrown away the packing slip with all the needed info on it. They forget about everything and call 2-4 weeks later once they are charged for the bottle which is a TRIAL....not a FREE GIFT. A trail means you use it and then if you like it, you pay for it. It does not mean they send you something for free.
Again, I understand your anger, but please accept some responsibility in the matter and in the future refrain from being so willing to use your credit card on the internet without reading all of the terms and conditions first. Again, what Supreme Brands did was not the best way to do business, but they broke no laws as everything is clearly stated on the website and in the email that they send out after the order. Thanks!
P.S. If you would have called and asked, I know that we can extend the trial period to 15 days from the date of receipt, not the date of shipment. Don't be afraid to ask...they want to keep you as a customer.
