BitTorrent is a relatively new file swarming technology allowing for very rapid file transfers between users who share pieces of a file in a group until the file is complete for everyone.

It's a totally free and open source community, but ripoff artists like suprnova.com attempt to exploit this by charging a fee for something that is totally free.

Many users by default assume that domain names end in .com. Those hearing about Suprnova, which offers a directory of torrent files for downloading, have automatically assumed the web address is suprnova.com. In fact, the free site being sought is actually www.suprnova.org, and it charges no fees whatsoever.

Further, client software to take advantage of the BitTorrent network is also completely free. You can find all of the clients you need from sites like www.zeropaid.com at no charge. Suprnova.com simply charges you for software available online elsewhere for nothing!

The service offers no refunds, of course, but I wouldn't let this stop you from putting the charge into protest with your credit card company. At fees up to $30+, don't let this company get away with your hard earned dollars.
