SureWay Beneficial Ripoff Almost ripped me off Internet
On 4/30/2005 Some girl which she called herself Susan called me from SureWay Beneficial. Told me I was approved for a credit card for $2000.00. Which I was going to be charged $249.00 for. I asked how did she get my name? She said I must have applied on the internet the week before because it showed that I was approved the week before. So the conversation went on. She said she needed to verify my information that they had. I asked how do I know that this is not a rip off? She said she was going to give me a confirmation number along with just a P.O. Box 3548# and either it's a ext. # or a pin # and a env #.
So I thought it was ok to go ahead with the process. I gave Name, address, S.S # drivers Li. # Bank Acct. #. They said they would draft on 5/10/2005. After we hung up a little bit later I called the # back with a question and could not get through to them. I even tried 555-555-1212 the number they called from. So I then went on the Internet to look them up and came across other people being ripped off by them. So I contacted the Credit Bureau's and had a Fraud Alert put on my credit report. So first thing on 5/2/2005 I went to my bank and changed my acct. Thank you so much Rip-off Report for this sight for everyone to see. It was a Blessing to find ya'll ahead of time..
Thank you so much Rip-off for having this sight for other people to find.
