This company called my home and offered me a credit card with a $2,000 credit limit. I was told there was a one time processing fee of $249. I aggreed to this deduction and the money was taken from my account on April 11th. The 25 days they allow for processing came and went, and the "package" was finally mailed to me on May 13th. It took two weeks to get to me, and I learned that it is not a normal credit card. It is a "loadable" credit card with an allowable limit of $2500 depending on how much you deposit on it.

I called the customer service number today and listened to my original recorded call. No where in the conversation does it say that the card is a debit card. Cindy Brown apologized for not being able to refund my money. All refund requests have to go through Sureways head office c/o Marsha Grant, P.O. Box 3548 Champlain, New York, 12919.

Please do not fall into the same trap that I did. I have filed a complaint with my bank, and they are going to help me get my money back. I have also alerted the Better Business Bureau and the New York Attorney General's office.

If this has happened to you... please do the same thing.
