Complaint Review: SUREWAY BENEFICIAL

We were contacted by phone 3/2/05 stated we were fully approved for a master card for $2000 limit with 0 % interest, no annual fees and 5%monthly payment on balance. They had all our info and said just needed confirmation. then they take $249. and we would receive card in 15-20 days. the phone # she gave us is a recording we left messages and they have not called back. They claim they are in New York or Oklahoma. They use the same address for both states.they also say they have a link on mastercard.com (which they do not) and their site is sureway.com (which is a medical supply company) It seemed strange so we Filed reports with our local BBB and filed a report with the FTC last week. We stopped the payment before they were able to take it I found this site and saw all the complaints thought I would put in mine.
