  If you are looking to hire a bath restoration company please BEWARE of Surface Restoration Service / Lancaster Bath Tub Refinishing.   I had an appointment scheduled on 8/21/15 prior to leaving for vacation on 8/22/15. The company did not show up but they did called to reschedule. The property is on a lock box and i did not feel it was a big dea, so we rescheduled for 8/25/15. After the work was performed I had my business partner check the work and he was not happy. The chips and scratches that were supposed to be repaired were not and there are drips, bubbles & dirt in the finish. He taped this off certain things but still managed to get over spray all over my new fixtures and tile floor. I took a ton of pictures and sent the to the owner dave, he was reluctant but had agreed to come back theon 9/25/15. I was told they would be there around 8am, i gave him the lock box but informed him that i would be there this time! So i waited till almost 10 am before I called the office to let them know no one had showed up. She assured me that she would call the tech and call me right back. The next call I receive was around 2.30pm from the tech Rodney to let me know that they would not be coming out because his air compressor broke. I informed him that the house was going up for sale and I needed him here that day, i would go to home depot and rent him a compressor. He basically told me that he is not coming and hung up and rude manner. I believe they had no intention on coming back. I called and called their office with no return calls. At that point I knew no one was coming back to repair their mess and left numerious messages for a refund. I had an open house scheduled that sunday and a tub that was not ready! I called and text the owner Dave throughout the weekend without a response. Finally, Monday morning he contacts me to let me know that they will not be repairing the tub and i will not get a refund until I Prove to him that someone else repaired it. So let me get this straight, you provided poor service and I have to prove that someone else repaired it before you provide a refund. I am in the process of suing this company for a refund of my $475 and I have another company scheduled on 10/14/15 to repair the work they performed at a cost of $575. He will not have to pay court and attorney cost in addition to the damages caused by the delayed sale. What company makes you wait for a refund after he has seen the numerous pictures of their flawed work? This is not a company I would suggest doing business with... I had given them numerous opportunity to correct it and they do not care of their work or your time. Looking back I should have cancelled them after they cancelled our first appointment. Learn from my mistakes and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
