Surplus Alert - Web Storefront internet scam to sell storefronts to unsuspecting buyers who don't know they are purchasing a storefront on the web. The site casually sends a message that reads, "of course you know the first billing will begin on the 16th" like its no big deal. ripoff Pleasant Grove Utah
I recently received an email from the surplus alert company stating that it was just a reminder that the regular payment for the account would begin on the 16th for my storefront. I have no idea what this company is talking about, nor do I want an internet storefront of any kind.
I e-mailed back to the internet address requesting that the company kindly cancell this account before the payment period begins. The company sends back a cheery e-mail stating that they can only accept written cancellations. Isn't an email written?
I write the letter to the company who now has wasted my time and will probably get away with charging me for something besides the stamp and my time I have already wasted on them. It is certainly ok to take my payment over the internet apparently, but this company cannot take a cancellation. This is a ripoff! I would hope no one would buy from anyone who owns a storefront at surplus alert as they are crooks!
