Complaint Review: Surplusalert - paypal - ebay

please warn people about surplusalert. they sent me an email. i looked at the website to see if i would like to do business with them. you have to fill in name and address to see the site. when i got to the end i went back and deleted my name and address.

i received a phone call from them saying they are sending me an ebay sellers kit. i told them i didnt order anything and dont want it. i was just looking at your site to see what you had. the lady said i have to send you some info about us anyway. i said i dont want anything and hung up.

when i got my credit card statment they had charged me $4.87 for shipping. when i called them and asked how did you get my credit card number and phone number? they said i had ordered from there site. i said no i didnt and this is fraud. im glad it wasnt very much money.

i am removing my info from paypal and ebay because i dont trust them now. it could be worse next time. i was setting up a sellers account with ebay and paypal to sell things on ebay. i still dont know for sure how they got my phone number and credit card number. i have contacted them all including my credit card department.
