I placed an online order for 4 dresses via the lightinthe box site and paid via paypal. I receeived the order about 2 weeks later to find the qulaity appaling. I would neva wear items that were so badly sewn. I contacted the customer service and after various emails was told to post the dresses back to china at my own cost and to use the post offfice delivery service and not the speed services as i will be refunded the postage amount as well as the invoice amount. I did this and it cost me R172 for postage. I scanned the postage cost to them only to be told that that refund will be done by a separate department and that will only happen when they receive my parcel and perform an inspection to check for quality problems, The post will take around 2 months to reach china so now i am out of pocket about R1800 and have to wait 2 months to see if they decide that i should get a refund. In the mean time i have a function and no money or outfit to wear.  This to me is a total rip off.
