I signed up tod do surveys for Surveyteam.com because the advertise, "Earn $100 for completing online surveys & offers" and "Get paid to do other things too!!...$3 Bonus on Signup, Own the products you review, Complete simple online surveys & offers, Earn $3-80 per survey completed, Share your opinion and make a difference".
I have done market research and surveys in the past and have not had to pay to participate and have promptly gotten paid for my time accordingly.
So I spent my time, several hrs a day for several days, AND MY OWN MONEY completing surveys and offers and then I requested payment when my approved cash accrued was $130. I still have $259 pending. When I requested payment by clicking the designated button, an automated message popped up on the screen that stated, "Payment may take up to 15 days.".
OK. Fine. Except that 15 days came and went and I have yet to receive payment. I emailed support, and the response was policy jargon re: 90 days for payment. This is false advertising and unacceptable. This company is willfully deceptive and should be made to pay!
I have seen several Ripoff Reports concerning this company and now wonder how many people they are doing this to. A class action suit is definately in order here.
