Suteu Paul Sorin Rip-off paid $850 for T30 ThinkPad computer on ebay 2/12/03 have not received to date 3/15/03 Stratford Wisconsin
I bid on several laptops on ebay in early February. Seller ncc-1701e contacted me privately via email and offered me a new T30 ThinkPad for $850. After checking him out on ebay feedback, I sent a Western Union Money Transfer [#9058926199] for $921 ($71 WU transfer fee).
It was picked up on 2/12/03 by someone claiming his name was Suteu Paul Sorin. I have not received the promised computer or any answers to repeated emails (5). The email address (winn_james81@hotmail.com) is valid - I did a search. But I cannot verify Suteu Paul Sorin is a real person and cannot locate him or get a phone number for him via the internet.
I have also reported this to ebay, to the FTC, the IFCC, the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and the Stratford, WI Police Department. Thanks!
