Suzuki 112, Patchogue, New York- paid off the wrong car-won't pay off loan as agreed

My daughter purchased a 1999 Kia sportage from Suzuki 112, sales person Susan Houston.She traded in a Hyundai Tiburon, stated right on the contract. The car was in my name, I clearly went over with Susan that the car is to be paid off in full, including the balloon payment. She assured me they have already called the bank and got the #'s and because of the amount owed on the Tiburon Stephanie was giving them an additional $1500.00

They were fully aware that I had 2 car loans at the bank. They went as far as to come to my office, for me to sign papers. At that time I went over it again, that the # were correct. And that everything was clear. For I was going out of town for a week. My daughter wanted to pick the Kia up that Night.

They told me I would have a satisfaction notice with-in a month. Takes time for the paper work. Instead I got a late notice from my bank on a payment due.

After calling my bank they informed me that the car in no way has been paid off. After some checking we discovered that my Madza was paid off. The correction on that was taken care of. Except with a balance of $2061.00 left on the Tiburon loan. Since the #'s did not match my loan pay off, or the money on the contract. How could this mistake be made.
Someone pocketed Money!
