Suzuki Of Lakeland I Can't Believe Some People Lakeland Florida
On the evening of Saturday, May 3, 2008, I walked into Suzuki of Lakeland as a customer to make application for an auto loan. After about 3 hours my application was declined and I had no where else to turn. I called the dealership about a week later to inquire about the possibility of getting an approval with the help of a co-signer and was given erroneous information about a loan approval from May 3rd visit, but would need money down based on my credit score.
That information led me to take a 30 minute drive with limited gasoline in my car, with hopes fo finally being able to purchase a new vehilce. I arrived at 8:oo to again be greeted by same salesperson who seemed anxious to help me. He advised me that the last time I did not get approved and would need a co-signer and possibly a substantial down payment.
Very discouraged, I requested to speak with a finance officer but was introduced to the Sales Manager. After describing my experiences and expressing how unhappy I was, he politely advised what steps we would need to take to acquire the loan and the process began again. After about 2 hours fo the finance team working to get an approval, I was happy to hear that I could get my new car. After signing for my loan, I was able to drive home with my new 2008 Suzuki SX4.
The banks make it very dificult to get loans and we have to fight with them to get the loan I needed. Thank God I had a great group of guys to fight with me.
We need to band together and get the banks to be more understanding for our situations. It is not like it used to be when we knew the bankers by name, now we never see there faces they only look at our credit and that is never 100 percent correct. Good Job Suzuki of Lakeland!!!!

"The banks make it very difficult to get a loan". "...get the banks to be more understanding...". "..they only look at our credit". What is there to look at? What a load of crap. a)You don't pay back your loans. b)You have crappy credit. What is there to understand? c)Most important. Don't co-sign for anyone. They won't pay it back, you'll end up screwed.
