SVP- Silicon Valley Peripherals Bought a product that never worked and have been waiting 5 mos for them to send back Fremont California
In Dec of 2008 I bought a camcorder online at SVP's website. Received in a week and tried to use it. It didn't work. After 8 emails trying to get a RMA number I finally did, but couldn't send it back till I went on PayPal and paid additional money to allow them to return my product once it was fixed or supposedly send me a new one if it couldn't be fixed. I did so and proved my confirmation of money sent and then shipped my product with all my "proof". 17 emails later (they don't seem to have a phone they are willing to give to anyone) I still have no product back and the last few emails I can not even get anyone to respond to me. I was told a lot of different stories. They laid people off, they lost track of my product after it was received in shipping, then they found it and would expedite things and well,......the exepditing was 2 mos. ago. Quite the impressive expedition. I have been back on their web site and sent additional emails to the sales@svp.com and still have not heard anything. Don't deal with this company. I can not believe after all I have been through I am the only one out there! This company sells through Ubid, Ebay and many others as well as their own web site.
