Swagbucks is an internet company that gives a member credits for things offers on the internet. The credits can then be redeemed for gift cards. Problem is, fully 40-50% of the offers never credit. And Swagbucks has a standard email when you submit a request for credit that says sorry, we can't help you, we hope you understand.

I responded to an offer for 1600 points when joining the Dollar Shave Club on 9 Mar 16. I was to receive 100 points for the initial membership, which I received, and then 1500 points if I stayed in the club for three months. I am still a member of the club but can't seem to get Swagbucks to honor the 1500 points. They asked for supporting documentation, which I have sent. Then they ask for it again, and again and again. I've sent it a total of four times now. Each time they say sorry, we hope you understand.

So then I took to Facebook. I was asked for documention again, still no points. Then I received a message from Valerie. She said that they can't credit my points if they don't get paid by the sponsor, so sorry. It seems it just doesn't matter that I totally fufilled the terms to get my points. They aren't going to credit me because of an issue they have with the sponsor.

The bad thing is that when this was going on, I started to keep track of every offer and every point. Close to 50% of the offers I did, everything from1-500 points, were not being credited. Multiply that by the number of members that Swagbucks has, and Swagbucks is making a lot of money from it's members without having to dole out the rewards.

So if there was ever an internet company that deserves the pedestal of shame, it's Swagbucks!
