Complaint Review: swat repo

Hi im 32 years old married with 3 year old son.Time are tuff where we"er from so came to nd for work in oil field been working 12 to 14 hrs a day 6 to 7 days a week for all most 2 years now having no time for family so me and my wife had been saving money little by little and trying to figure out how i could spend more time with family,so we came up with be coming an owner operator so i could be my own boss and may get ahead in life.So i started looking for a good used truck that would be reliable and safe and would be able to go right to work so i could start making money since we had to use our life savings and put every on the line and cross our fingers that nothing would go wrong.

I finaly found the truck ive been dreaming about for years.I contacted dan at swat repos about a 96 kenworth realy good looking truck he said the truck was in really good shape and ready to go to work one of the nices trucks he's ever had.He told me he just had posted the truck that morning and all ready had 10 people that had called on it so i said i was really interested in and wanted to send him a deposit to hold the truck tell i could get there.He said there was no need for that he would just email me a sales agerment to sign and send back and make a copy of the check i was going to use to pay for truck so i did.

Well the next morning my bank calls me to tell me a really big check came though and it over drafted my account so i ran down to the bank and made a deposit to cover and ask about the trans action it was for the amount of the truck.so i called dan and asked how and why did he try to cash check before i had even looked at the truck in person.He told me it was normal for him to sucure funds before he drove a truck 600 miles so i could take dilevery he said his bank just put a hold on the money until i took posetion of the truck the money was being held buy his bank untell i got to fargo nd and checked out truck.

Well on my way there he called said some thing came up the truck would be at a truck stop with keys in it he said check it out drive it and if u have any problems or question to just give him a call when i got there the truck was in very bad shape oil leaks every were wheel seal out so i took it for a drive any way and as soon as i got 2 miles it was shaking and all over the road I called left a messege he called back in morning i told him i wasnt interested in the truck needs to muck work and if he had another one around the same price he told me that i had all ready signed the papers that he needed in court and that the truck was now mine and i couldnt do any thing about it and that my money was all gone paying off the bank that owned the truck before and that he was done talking to me and the truck was in really good shape he didnt no what i was talking about and hung up the phone.

So the only thing i could think of was to take the truck in to a shop and get it checked out and prove to him that the truck was a peace of crap.Kenworth of fargo looked it over for 3 hrs and wrote me a qoute for over 16,000 dollers in repairs just so i could work the truck they told me theres a few things that have to be done before i could even make it back home so i had to go out in the snow and put a rear u joint in and fix the rear wheel seal and two flat tires and change oil in front hubs because they were full of water well see u in court hope u had a good time hunting dan y i was working on ur piece of crap truck u screwed me on ever dog will have his day :)
