Bought a Ford Taurus from this guy and he told me it was in really good shape. I explained that I commute long distances and that was a big factor. I fell for it hook line and sinker. The car kept overheating. The A/C didn't work and the heat quit working shortly after it turned cool and heat was needed. He replaced the water pump with a junk yard pump. I headed EAst and broke down in Ohio, Eastern Ohio. It cost me $750.00 to tow the car back home. He offered no compensation for that. He said he repaired the car but just did a bubblegum and bailing wire repair. I am now into a 2001 Ford Taurus for $5000.00. I will never ever get my money out of it and it keeps on failing. A real Lemon sold by a real Scumbag. Don't deal with Sweeny's Auto sales!

I would agree with you if this stuff would not have happened within a few days of purchase. I expect to have a few glitches when purchasing an 11 year old car. Also I never said I expected a perfect 11 year old car. What I did expect was the truth which obviously you like to bend and strech! Bottom line is I do not have to deal with people like that and this is my way of warning others to be aware of the type of business people that are out there. They don't care about the customer, just their pockets. By the way, turns out that Ford had a recall on the suspension system and they also confirm that the cooling systems were inadequate for this car. They did however adivise that a service memo was issued . Also, a week after purchasing the car I asked if they would take it back so I could purcahse another one and they said I could trade it in for about a 1/4 of what I paid! That my friend is a ripp off!

and expected a trouble free car....not gonna happen.

How many miles does this great car have on it?

Did it have these problems when you took it on a test drive, before purchase?
