Sweep 'n' Mop ripoff Wallingford Connecticut
ordered 2 sweep n mops for a total of 19.99 + shipping and handeling. The shipping and handeling was
$87.00!!! I e-mailed them and told them to cancel my order and that I don't pay $87.00 for anything so cheap. I am also calling my bank tomorrow and scheduling a "no Payment" from my debit card. this is horrible. Why would anyone spend 9x more than the product?

It doesn't cost $87.00 to ship a mop bonehead... That is how they make their money, ripping off the consumer for shipping fees. I ship car bumpers across the country for $32.00. They are 3 times bigger than a mop and 7 times heavier.

The mop may be cheap, but that does not mean that shipping is, too. It costs a great deal to ship something as large and bulky as a mop. Also, the high-grade steel that this mop is made of makes it quite heavy and more expensive to ship.
Then, you need to account for the packaging materials and the person who must be paid to pack the item in the warehouse. No - those things are not free.
My question is, why did you place an order for this item without first checking how much the shipping and handling cost was? You can't cry rip off when you authorized them to charge your credit card without first inquiring about the total cost. Had you asked beforehand, you could have then simply not placed your order, and ordered a competitors' product like the Super Mopp or Mackdaddy Mopp instead.
