SweepStakes Clearing House Extorts money by charging 200x's the value of items via shipping fees or forced to accept a refund, less 15%. Dallas Texas
I ordered 2 pairs of bikes from the company. They were sold that way 2/$189.99, a great price,or so it seemed. There is no mention of shipping charges on the voucher or any paper work sent in the mail. In fact it says 100% satisfaction guarranteed! Don't believe it!
I sent full payment for the bikes, $379.90 to be exact. I recieved a very poorly worded paper that asked for what I thought was $10 for each pair, needed for the shipping. Then I got another letter saying they needed my home address to ship it to not a P O box. That's when I called in person to verify. I was told that the shipping was not $10 each but nearly $400 dollars each! That means they want $400 for shipping 2 bikes (assembly required), that cost $189.99. Ridiculous!
That's when I said cancel my order. The gal on the other end said that I have to relinqush 15% of my money if I want to cancel the order. I got an e-mail that says that same thing. Send them $800 for outrageous shipping fees or "compromise"
by accepting 15% less of my money back. They have no such stipulations or mention of this or either on their bogus "contract" and are trying to extort money from me for doing apsolutely nothing.
Now, I cannot reach them via phone or email. I need help. I want to put this business out of business before they steal from anyone else.
