Complaint Review: Sweepstakes Clearing House

I purchased an Omni2 Digital Video Camera (Omni2 6.6MP 32MB Digicam Set) through Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes through a lay-a-way agreement.

I paid a total of $121 for the Camera on a monthly payment plan. I found this site when I was trying to find better operating instructions for the camera.

My camera came with a book, case, cords and a disk. I did not have to use the cord or the disk -- the instruction booklet is fairly vague in it's instructions --
I purchased an SD card and I have an SD Slot on my puter -- so I just use the camera and put the Card into my computer and retrieve my pictures or video -- I hadn't had any problems. Recently though the photos are not coming out right and I'm having problems operating the camera to make adjustments.

I also purchased another product through them that I paid for right away - and found it to be not of the quality I expected -- and it has glitches -- so I hardly ever use it. (a stereo system)

Anyway -- I don't know if it will help -- But this is the address and phone number of where I was sending my payment to. I began payments in Dec of 2006 and finished paying it off in Aug of 2007.

I am sorry you are having trouble with them. I have ordered quite a few products from them and I haven't had any trouble yet. *knocks on wood* lol

First Karl, I think the OP may have mistakenly put his own address instead of Sweepstakes Clearinghouse address. If he had the address, do you think he would be asking for help on how to contact the company, Karl? Now Bob, I was sent a letter from this company as well. I was extremely suspicious of the 'vouchers' so I looked them up, and there are hundreds of complaints here on ROR. I'm sure my letter said the company is in Dallas, TX. The address I have for this slime ball company is 1555 Regal Rd. P.O. Box 569600 Dallas, TX 75356-9931 U.S.A.

This company has stolen from so many people. They send broke down and rebuilt items, and I suspect even if you contact them, you'll never receive help from them. Also, get your items appraised. I assure you that you paid at least 3 times what the product is worth. If you have the time read just a few of the other posts on sweepstakes clearinghouse you understand how evil this company is! This company makes it hard to contact them for a reason..The know they've scammed people.

I have a suggestion. Since you live in Littleton, CO have you tried driving over to the street address for Sweepstakes Clearinghouse and knocking on the door?
