Complaint Review: Sweepstakes Clearinghouse

Sweepstakes Clearinghouse enticed, then left waiting by dishonest ripoffs Dallas Texas

I received the colorful brochures in the mail, along with the credit voucher of $400. Since I am a disabled veteran, I am on a fixed income. I ordered the 5-pc expandable luggage because my sister had a similar set, and I liked what I saw.

I sent my check and the credit voucher to Sweepstakes Clearinghouse on March 13, 2003 and have yet to receive my luggage. Since I traveled recently to Arlington Virginia to bury my brother-in-law, I was sure I would find the luggage waiting on my doorstep when I returned. Instead I am still waiting for a delivery.

We just reviewed the message posted on April 8, 2003 and would like to provide the following information.

According to Howards e-mail, he did not receive his luggage. We always ship customer orders very promptly. If Howard did not receive his shipment, we have either sent it to the wrong address or may have got lost in transit.

We take our commitment to Customer Service very seriously and would like to assist Howard. However, in order to locate an account, we will need a full name and address, including zip code so we can research our records. Once we locate an account, we will be happy to address any all concerns and resolve this matter.

Thank you for providing us the opportunity to respond to this matter.
