Sweepstakes Information Reporting Service (SIRS) ripoff, mail Las Vegas Nevada
I recieved a very official looking letter, the wording seemed to obsucre some things. It seemed to say that I had won 525,439.00, then it seemed to say that it was based on selection. The thing that made me really doubt this was the fact that they asked 21.95 to process report documents and final record. Why didn't they just take any necessary expenses out of the prize money, I wondered to myself.
Then I read the fine print on the back (this is how clever they're getting). It made it seem that it was a chance to purchase information about sweepstakes and that making a purchase would not increase the odds of winning. However, it all felt fishy to me so I came to this website and BINGO, found someone had filed a report. I have not and will not send any money to SIRS, and I would advise you to do the same. Remember, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
