Sweet Streak Lingerie has been in my favorites list for about two years before I ever ordered for them. Since they had been around for two years, I figured they were legit. Now they may be legit, but they are awful to deal with and I will warn you about them before you make a purchase with them.

Here's my story:

I ordered from them on October 2, 2008. In my order confirmation email it says that in-stock items will ship in 2-3 days (with 95% of all items in-stock), contact them anytime, blah blah blah blah blah. I needed this order for a photoshoot that a client had scheduled on October 18. I figured I would have it by then. Boy was I way wrong.

I emailed Robin on Oct. 9th asking when my order would ship since I had placed my order on the 2nd and on my account it still said "ordered". I asked if the status hadn't been updated and it did ship, or if all the items I ordered were not in stock and when would I expect to receive them. I was very nice in my email to her.

I finally received an email back from her on Oct. 15th (6 days later) saying nothing more than "hi there, have you rcvd your package?"

No name at the end of the email or anything. I replied back the same day saying that I did not receive it and asked when the estimated delivery date was. I did not receive a reply back again, so I re-emailed her on Oct. 20th saying I still have not received my package, asking when it shipped out and if there was a tracking number I could reference. I also explained I had no idea it would take this long, how I needed it 2 days earlier for a client, and asking if this was the norm for how long it would take incase I ever decided to order through them again.

This is about the time I took a look at my credit card account and realized they charged me $11.95 more than I had originally ordered. My order was for $108.07 and I had ordered during a free shipping promotion. So I was trying to be understanding and said I think they didn't apply that promotion to my order. So that same day (Oct. 20th) I also called her - but of course nobody answered. I left a voicemail about the refund request and also asked about my order status. Then I followed up with another email (same day) explaining everything I left on voicemail and explaining how I was getting frustrated with the lack of communication. Plus I included all my information again - shipping address, billing address, order confirmation number, order number, order date, the items I ordered, etc.

The next day a lady by the name of Sabrina had called me back, but I missed the call (which I regret missing!). I emailed her back right away (it was almost 11pm when I received her voicemail and didn't want to call her that late) saying that I appreciated her calling me about the shipping situation, but no email was received. In her voicemail she had gave me a line about the shipping address was wrong in their system and to give her the correct address (it was CORRECT in their system, but I emailed her AGAIN my shipping address - even though I already included that in a previous email to her to re-confirm everything). She didn't mention anything about the extra charge to my card in her voicemail, so I re-addressed that issue in my email to her, telling her when a good time to call me back was and re-gave her my number (incase she would say she didn't have that for some reason).

So my last email to her was on October 21, 2008. By November 3, 2008 I still have not received my order or heard back from her. My card was not refunded yet either. I sent her an email on Nov. 3rd stating that and that on my account it said my order was shipped on October 22 - but I had not received it yet.

A few days go by and no response, no order. On November 7th I emailed her again saying that I'm now very worried that she's taken my money and ran. I re-stated everything from previous emails and about the other report I found on Ripoff Report. I then closed the email by saying if I did not hear from her by the end of business day on the 11th (giving her more than one business day to respond) that I would be contacting my credit card company's fraud department to get my money back.

Surprise, surprise. She contacts me the same day, apologizes for the delay then going on to say how her son had the flu and she's been home with him. Then she says she will put my mind at ease and she is NOT a fraudulent company, been in business 6 years and there have only been 2 complaints regarding their services (really??? so I'm only number 3?? I find that odd). Then she says one of those complaints was with another company - which means nothing to me. She says their warehouse is in Mexico City and they've lost 2 of their "great" inhouse reps because they have moved to a different state and so much of the customers have been distributed between Robin and herself and there has been delays and misunderstandings.

Then she says my order really did ship and that it is on the way. They she says they were on the road for a lingerie show and with Halloween there has been delays. Then regarding my refund she says it was applied, but not yet batched by the bookkeeper, so it should reflect in a day or two and that she put a note for her to speed the process (sure).

So I reply back saying thank you for replying back so quickly (since I was used to waiting at least a week to hear from her) and for confirming the order was shipped. But by this point I was fed up with the excuses and mentioned how I have a business too and also have a child (he's 3) and even when he's sick I still manage to stay in control of my business.

I finally receive my order on November 10, 2008. And guess what? She shipped it out the day after I last had contact with her (which was on November 8th). She shipped it out by Priority Mail, which only takes 2 to 3 days. I emailed her how upset I was with her lying to me about the ship date (she said it was shipped on the 22nd) and also how she didn't mention that some of the items I ordered were out of stock and that my refund was actually $39.36 instead of $11.95.

She never replied back.

In the end I made sure I got my $39.36 refund (which I finally did) and kept all the emails I had with this company incase anything would be charged to my card again.

Please do not order from this company!! They lack customer service, lie to their customers, and make excuse after excuse. Plus, the outfits they do sell are just knock-offs of the real thing and one wasn't even the color it was on the website (it showed blue, described as so, and arrived black). If you do order from them, just make sure you order months in advance so you don't disappoint any of your own clients or cause yourself a headache or worry from wondering where your order is and where you money really went.
