I was introduced to Sweeetpaulapods by a friend, and he had warned me that the order from this website can be delayed so order well in time so that you don't have to go through anything else. I tried them out and the first time the order came through very fast, I ordered a few more times, there was a little delay but nothing crazy, once she din't reply for a few days but then she came through. My friend had told that Paula is the only one who manages the business and she some times is over occupied so give her some time between order and delivery, I did so and was always very polite and calm with her.
I placed an order on November 25th 2016, I instantly got an email saying
Hi,
Something went wrong with your payment, I refunded it. My processor is having problems. I can take a payment with paypal or send you an invoice Tues. Sorry about that. Let me know. Paula
I being a good customer offered that I can send you via paypal, but my card shows the payment so make sure you refund it. She sent me the following reply:
Great.
If you can send it to Ctinnell@gmail.com. if you send it as friend/gift, paypal will say out of our business. Thanks so much and sorry about the trouble. Have a good night. Paula
Knowing my experience with her and trustsing her on her words I sent her the money on Paypal, now I feel stupid doing that. Anyways, she replied saying that money on the credit card has been refunded but she will keep an eye out just in case if it did not. She asked for my address again, I sent her that and later she replied saying something went wrong with her entire system and it went down, she has someone coming to get it fixed and if I wanted a refund but if I waited a little she will be sending the orders out soon.
I said I am not in a rush, she can take her time but let me know once the order is shipped.
She replied thanks for understanding on December 5th, and since then I am trying to reach her, and she has not repsonded. I was hoping like it had happeneed once before where she did not reply for a few days and then she did. When 2 weeks passed I got concerned and was really hoping that she is doing well and will atleast reply someday. After that I was out my self during the year end and din't bother to email her hoping she will send the order or reply after the holidays, but nothing, I don't think she has any intentions to send it as well now. I did some research and I see that the Owner of the website has been online today on the server log
Now, the order was not a small order, I ordered pods worth ~ $225. I reached out on the email used for Paypal today, hoping to get a reply. If still no reply, I am going to contact as many claim channels I can so that at least other people can be saved from the scam, their website is hosted on Amazon cloud, and we can report the missue, which I am trying to report their website to.
I know I am not getting my money back, but I will do whatever is in my hands to make sure they either do business professionally or shut down.
I was being very patient and respectful with them but enough is enough. Seeing all these reports filed against them I am also pretty confident that this must be a very common thing for them. If you are reading this Paula, let me tell you something, if you steal someone's hard earned money you will never stay happy. I have seen many people getting destroyed and that has always taught me to be honest and truthful in life.
