Complaint Review: SWF Marketing

My wife and I were looking for advancements in our career and turned to the local paper here in Port Charlotte, FL. We found an ad for what seemed to be the perfect job that offered great profit......"too good to be true".......because it was!

Not too long after replying to the ad we received a letter about the supposed company and what they were about....."stuffing envelopes for $500-$1000 per week + hefty bonuses of $400 per 500 envelopes.

The name of this company was SWF Marketing out of El Jobean, FL. They were asking for "honest and dependable people who could work without supervision". We then went out to get a $25 money order which was needed to get started.

Tonight, the night before we planned to send it out......we just so happened to look in depth on Ripoffreport.com......thank God. The only way of reaching this company seemed weird....that it was a 212 area code which is out of New York and the phone call answers to only a recording about the company in which they repeatedly tell you they are "a 100% legitimate, honest offer of home-based employment".

The phone number is (212)615-6424........also enclosed in the envelope they sent to us was an "employment contract/guaranteed weekly wage and bonus agreement" that states, "Our company hereby guarantees in writing that home workers will be paid $1.40 for each envelope stuffed according to directions, they will also be paid a weekly bonus of $200 for 250 envelopes and $400 for 500 envelopes........signed:

Do not be fooled by this scam.....as we just about were....lucky they were helping hands here on this site which allowed us to see through the BS of the scam. Thanks ripoffreport and Tyler in the previous post for warning us and opening our eyes to the truth.
