Complaint Review: SWIFT TRANSPORTATION

Where to start-I guess with my own stupidity is a good place.

I was told that I would get my CDL and go on to a wonderful job with Swift making lots of money-WRONG! I arrived in Phoeniz AZ to got to school with Swift. I had a 12 hour bus ride then waited at the bus station for 3 hours to get picked up. After I arrived at the hotel(Echono-lodge) in Tolleson I got my room key and went to my 4 man room( I was in the military so bunking is not an issue)

The issue was the room-HOLY CRAP WHAT A DUMP! I expected it to be a little run down with so many people using these rooms every week-but I had no idea that Swift would put anyone in training in a hotel that allows METH labs to be run upstairs!-YES A METH LAB-The front desk claimed it was burnt popcorn but the smell lasted for 5 days-hum?-on to school.

The first day was as expected, physical-drug screen etc. After my class lost 10 people fo9r various reasons on to the CDL training-lots of good instruction and passed my CDL permit first time-Range training-no comment-Road training(3rd week)-We drove to Flagstaf with a load on Tues. and Thurs. while we hauled a full load up and down hills(trainees) the instructor slept in the passangers seat-talk about scary-As I stated I have spent over $1500 on food, supplies and phone bills with calls to them asking when I get my Mentor-before I forget it ,the instructors at the Swift Academy in Phoenix-they test you for your CDL(some are certified by DOT to test)-I will say this, I failed my test the first time-when I was retested I was GIVEN my CDL-I know I failed very bad(problems with alley dock) but was passed anyway-anyone who wants a CDL and not earn it-go to Swift they will pass you and say "the mentor will teach you more"

Everyone says they are bad-they are wrong-Swift is DANGEROUS-they are giving CDL's to people who cant even drive a car-all in all-I gave Swift a month and $1500 to get me out on the road and training-I am pleased to say the two famous words
I QUIT!-going to someone who will make me money!
