Wow! Now I see that the school I went to is being investigated by the Feds as they well should be.
Number one...the recruiter was a nice gal and I do believe her intent was to do just that 'RECRUIT'. However, she had me coming when I should have been going and going when I chould have been coming. Always repeat the information back to them then recheck it for accuracy. You can read about Swifts program once they send it to you so there is no misled action there.

The academy...they were rather nice people. Helping you along the process to kind of 'REEL' you into the committment for the couple thousand dollars. They string you into the right position where you can't turn back, and thats because of some of the steps they take before you beging to see hidden intent. The housing was the worst. Moving you from room to room daily or every other day, but with so many people dropping out or failing out or giving up or derailed out you constantly are staying challenges to meet their housing requirement which is the maximum to a room they can get. Major bedbugs so watch out.

The class phase. To be honest...they will give you the information you need but you need to be self sufficient in studying it. However with moving everyday almost it becomes a burden for people whole like to settle like me.

I actually overheard and saw them pass a few people that didnt hit the mark and was stunned, but I was in it and determined to get mine.

Practicing was a thrill b/c it was a new thing.

Watch out for your Driver Managers when you are assigned. They have lied and will lie to protect their own job. Mine lied several times and I recorded her on a digital device. I was going to bust her out about the lies that she was relaying back to her boss. Things like I was not ready when I should have been when I told her I was harbouring the flu and was on meds. A

fter picking up several messed up pieces of equipment (trailers) I decided it wasnt worth it and neither was the DM or the whole branch. The problem seemed to be systematic. You get left hanging on weekends and they dont take bad weather into consideration. So the problem more or less is the staff and personnel. The culture of the place. It only takes one to totally sour up your taste for their crap. Especially when you are out there to try and make a living. And now they have this FBI probe into them. I am not surprised at all.
