Was hurt on the job, talked to someone at Swift who took the information and said that Christine would be handling my case. Christine apparently doesn't know how to use a phone or talk because I have called and called, left message after message, but NEVER a call back.

I have cell phone records of all the times I called, the cell phone company also lists the incoming numbers and there isn't any from Christine! Or anyone that could help.

We tried to call everyone and anyone that we thought could help, but got no where. We even called Swift's workmens comp insurance company. That is how we discovered that they never filed the d**n claim. They couldn't help either, someone from Swift has to file the claim.

Now, after more than a month of trying to get my claim filed, I get some notice from them that I 'quit'. They claim that I was a no show and they contacted me!!! When in the hell did they contact me?? Even my driver manager never even called to see how I was or if I was still breathing. Nice, huh?!

They are just trying to get out of paying the workmens comp. We got an attorney several days before the notice that I 'quit' was received. And they claim to care about their drivers. What a joke.

If you have an employer who will not file a Workmens comp claim for you. Call the State and tell them your problem. An employer can get into big trouble for this type of behavior. If you need treatment go to a hospital emergency room and get it. When you get there tell them it is a work related injury and tell them Swift is your employer. This should get the ball rolling for you. Good luck
