Complaint Review: SwingTowns.com

My wife an I bought a lifetime years ago after testing the site out for a few months for free. We found a great group of people on the site  an moderators and management seemed to change over the years. We nver had any complaints against us for years and had a postive rating on our profile. in last 2 years we started getting a strange billign by ccbill for 35 dollars. Last year we enquired  about this with ccbill andthey told us they did not understaand why we were billed 35 dollars as it said we had a lifetime. We asked if the site had changed management or hands woudl we get billed or grandfathered in as a lifeltime. They had said we should be granfathered in as a lifetime change of hands or not. We asked about reversing our 35 dollars and they sai it would eefect our account and was hard to do. It may lock out our account in the system. We asked ccbill to take care of the mtter and strighten things out. a year rolls  by and htye try and charge us another 35 dollars and now our account is blocked and unusable and less than a free acount. I tried emailign the site and gettign this figured out but mysteriously al our accoutn info is gone and no record of our lifetime.According to current owner and all we are left with is to file this report and take legal action for what is entittled to us and what we paid for.

JAY, if you're saying we aren't allowed to talk about meeting places, your absolutely WRONG. AND, if when signing into chat it says this now "ITS because you've changed it as of today"! WE all have always posted IN CHAT addresses of webites! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. We also post music vids, pics, etc. SO again, you are caught in a lie. That's ok, because trust that EVERYONE on my FB is also reading this as I linked it to my FB, my EMAILS etc.

At this point I refuse to sit and watch you continue to lie and lie again. EVERYONE who is a member that knows you, and the people you banned, know your a complete liar. NO other word describes you. Swingtowns IS anything but "DRAMA FREE" YOU'VE proven this over the last month. NEVER have we had so many issues with ONE site other then yours, and we belong to many, many different sites. In all honesty, we had planned to leave your site because of constant drama caused by ONE person! WE all know who that is. At this point every member we ever spoke with are all on networkplayzone, so we are extremely happy with how you turned out to be. Our goal in letting others know of you, is to simply not allow YOU to DRAG people in under false advertisement. I won't go along with your "Pissing games" any further. YOU proved your a liar above when YOU stated you had no idea who these complaints were from. The list just goes on and on..

@eandree08 - Everytime you enter the chat you agree to the rules. The rules clearly state: "No Advertising: Posting emails, websites, phone numbers or any other connectivity information is not permitted." You went into the chat room and blatantly advertised the other website and then said "I was coming in to say Goodbye to some, will be deleteing this ST very soon" clearly you were leaving even before you advertised and violated our terms of service which caused the termination of your account. 

@Ginalynn - Ginalynn(the initial poster) is sactually Nan Hoban. Nan Hoban was not just some member who was sharing some website with a friend. Nan Hoban formerly worked as the chat moderator for SwingTowns.com.

Though the owner was upset with Nan's disloyalty and requested that she stop texting him, SwingTowns did not ban her for sharing the competitors website on Facebook. She lost her pr (profile representative status), because she was now representing a competitor.

 Fact: It wasn't until later that Nan's account was banned(see below)

Nan Hoban, stepped down as chat moderator and began working for a SwingTowns competitor from her home state of Indiana. 

Was Nan Dissloyal? 
Yes! 

Did the owner request she stop texting him for this dissloyalty?
Yes.

Is being disloyal against swingTowns Terms of Service? 
No. 

Was Nan banned for being dissloyal? 
Of course not.

So if Nan was not banned for sharing a compeitors website with her facebook friends, then what?

FACT: Nan Hoban was banned, because site she now works for started spamming the SwingTowns system! SwingTowns sent the spamming competitor a cease and desist letter and then banned all reported associated accounts, including Nan.

The fact of the matter is If you are ever looking for the Best Swingers site on the planet. One that is FUN. One that is drama free(Especially, now that all the drama has left.) One that is loved by many hundreds of thousands. Come on over because you will LOVE SwingTowns.com. 

SwingTowns.com is a Swingers Community where you can kick of your shoes, relax and enjoy the night away. 

Again, the owner, Jay Shoemaker is again not telling the truth. Our emails for this site are different of the emails on swingtowns. You know exactly who we are and we in FACT were all banned and others have been, as well. But, truth be TOLD, the more members you ban are more members who join other, more reliable sites. NOT one person did spam on your site. THAT is simply YET another lie! I for one talked about networkplayzome in chat, as I didn't know that was against the rules. You yourself had made PUBLIC live videos of people in CHAT and posted for the WORLD to see on the web! WAS that also what you consider spam? You should look up the definition for spam, because NOT one of us did spam on your site! Agina, buyers beware!

Below is a text conversation I held with Jay Shoemaker when he discovered by his informant(in our private friends group,,,Not in open Facebook wall )I had invited  friends to check out the new site,I NEVER mentioned any other site while on his,,You can clearly tell he is upset by his responses to the test's..Facebook is the ONLY place I mentioned the new site,,Members on a daily basis mention other sites in chat and in their profiles,, But they are still members,, What's the difference?,,Anyone that wishes to see the proof of this text conversation, is welcome to I have it still in my phone ,with Jay Shoemakers cell number attached,

Strange thing is,, All the members in our private friends group is members of the new site,,
Besides ,right now there is a forum in SwingTowns asking,, how many sites do you belong to,,and SwingTowns members have mentioned what sites they are members,,They didn't get deleted,, I want mine and my husbands LIFETIME MEMBERSHIPs restored! .Nothing less,,I have done nothing wrong,,

Fact #1) We have never banned a user with the names of "Ginalynn", "Gail McCaw" or "eandree08"

Fact #2) All users banned in recent weeks were banned for spamming using the SwingTowns system. This is against the terms of service. This is something the former chat moderator(ring leader) used to ban people for all the time, so both of her friends that are posting here now were fully aware they would be banned for spamming.

Fact #3) SwingTowns.com does not care what other sites belong to as long as they do not use our system to spam.

Jay Shoemakers replies are not factual, but in fact just digging himself deeper in by continuing to not tell the truth. THIS person who he speaks OF never mentioned networkplayzone while on Swingtowns. WE all chatted about networkplayzone on our free time on our facebooks. YOU, Jay Shoemaker need to show what you call FACTS on paper? Show your proof, because right now all you are saying is non factual proof with nothing to back it up. See, I have this thing called "screen shots" I will post my picture once you do the same. Again, buyers beware, this person who runs the sight is not factual in his statements and just wants to TRY and defend the truth of what US members, paid members are complaining about. As we continue, so does the number of members being banned, after paying for a FULL membership upfront!

The person who made the complaint is absolutely correct! I am also a memeber. Correction was a member and I too have been banned, as others have for simply enjoying another site that we are all members of. Jay shoemaker takes your money and then tries to control what sites members belong to. Swingtowns is a joke. BEWARE before joining. 

Fact #1) A former volunteer chat moderator from SwingTowns.com stepped down as chat moderator. It later came to light that the reason that chat moderator stepped down was to work for a competitor.

Fact #2) This chat moderator was very popular and asked her friends to join her at the new site. Her friends proceeded to start spamming SwingTowns.com

Fact #3) SwingTowns.com is a very popular swingers website, recognizes that swingers like variety, and thinks that's great.

Fact #4) SwingTowns.com spends many thousands of dollars each month so that members have lots of fun and meet new people every month.

Fact #5) Because of advertising, SwingTowns.com has more happy members than this other site trying to spam SwingTowns.com. If that website wants more satisfied members, they too should try advertising ethically rather than spamming and costing the few members they do have their memberships and reputations at other sites.

Fact #6) It is against the SwingTowns.com Terms of Service for anyone to use SwingTowns.com to advertise without prior approval. If a website wishes to advertise on SwingTowns.com, they should contact customer service, and we will gladly discuss our advertising packages.

Fact #7) Anyone that spams the SwingTowns.com mail system, chat system, im system, or in any way inhibits the wonderful experience that SwingTowns members enjoy will be banned, as stated in the terms of service.

Fact #8) Jay Shoemaker founded SwingTowns.com in 2001.

Fact #9) SwingTowns.com is all about providing a fun and relaxing atmosphere for our members. Anything beyond that (spam, drama, etc.) is removed.

Fact #10) SwingTowns.com is a great place to hang out. =D

I have been a member of this site for at least 6 yrs I have been working for them for free. I approved profiles and pictures. My husband also had an account which we rarely used. All of a sudden our lifetime membership was banned. I thought there was a problem with my computer so my friend tried to log in on her computer. She was banned also because she tried to use my name and password. I asked that day why I was banned and didn't get a response for over a week. It seems we are not allowed to talk to friends on the phone or Facebook or yahoo without their consent. What we do off of their site is none of their concern. I have been working for this site for free before Jay even owned the site. Each day he bans more members through association of banned members. He is emailing people who he thinks will turn on other members. Most of them are very offended by it.  I have been there so long I speak to a lot of members that are still there. Will all my friend be Banned? By the way I have screenshots of everything. They have slandered me.

Messengers, email addresses, phone numbers etc.. can all be used to send viruses, blackmail, or to steal your identity.

Sounds like slander to me.

ATTENTION: Ripofreport.com. I am formally requesting that you remove this false complaint from your site.

We have NOT recently deleted any accounts from Altamonte Springs, Florida. This is likely a spammer that is frustrated because we continue to delete their accounts.

The only the users that have been deleted from SwingTowns.com this year are members that have requested to have their account removed, violated our terms of service or spammers.

This is an example of recent spam that has been on our site:

This is not only a clear violation of SwingTowns.com Terms of Service but an unethical marketing approach for spammers to promote their sites. Frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Our members pay for our services and don't appreciate spam and we do NOT take that lightly. It is our goal to provide a fun, safe and spam free environment for our members.
