Complaint Review: Swirl Recordings Aka Swirl Films

I work in voice and they had me do a voice for a character in one of their hentai films. They stated they will pay me after completion of the project. One year later, still no check. All other anime voice production companies have a deadline and are able to pay their talent right away. They are crooks and have been doing this for years. They even post on craigslist that they need voices and they state they do not want the "whiny thesbians, or the people that want to be paid" to apply.
It is not right to ask people to waste their time on projects that they will never see a check for. I am sure a copy would never be sent to the voice actor for their portfolio either. This is common amongst the crooks of this area. Do not work for them, do not bother to waste your time and effort on this company for any production services because you will get the worst talent on the market doing your voice overs. They are the employees of this company. Small town ethics are not good!
