I bought a 2005 Cadillac SRX transmission from them on line with a 1 year parts and labor warranty. They shipped a 2008 instead and convinced the professional installer that it would work. The tranny failed winin days of installation. I contacted the warranty department directly because the online registration portal did not work and the failure was well within the warranty period. No warranty card was shipped with the transmission. I spoke to Alex Black in the warranty department. He told me what he needed from the installer. The installer contacted him mumerous times without response. After a couple of weeks waiting for Alex to get back to the installer I called him directly and sent him the information he requested. Another transmission showed up and was installed. When I went to pick up the car I was told that I owed another $1000 for the installation on top of the $1000 I paid for the initial install. When I contacted Alex, I was told that because I didn't register the warranty on line, that it defaulted to a replacement only warranty. When I reminded him that I spoke to him directly about the warranty because I couldn't register it and it was within 7 days of the install he said it didn't matter because it had to be done on line which is BS.

Alex is rude and needs to find another job!
