They allowed my daughter and each of her roommates to apply to rent a home and charged a (fair) $50 fee. She was informed that they didn't qualify because she's a college student and didn't have the credit. So, she asked if I could cosign. 

Long story short, I did, there were issues with the website that honestly, were a red flag to me, but my daughter really wanted the house, she's technically an adult and pays her own rent, so I continued my efforts.  So, I tried to call numerous times. 8 that I counted! and got no answer, and/or sent to a voicemail box that was full so I couldn't leave a message.

When I finally got ahold of someone, they gave me a different answer every time, admitted it was something with the website, told me that we needed to reapply, pay the $50 fee again, but refused to refund the $50 per person fee we'd already paid.

I refused, rightly so, and then all communications stopped.  If I persisted, they would send me to the "agent" that was supposedly managing the property. She never once answered our calls, or emails and didn't have voicemail set up.  It's all super sketchy, and I won't stand for it. I've reported the company and the "agent" to the BBB, LLR, and posted my complaints along with a long list of similar complaints from other people. They need to be put out of business.
