Purchased Norton Internet Security 2004, sent all required info, proof of purchase, rebate receict, qualify version of previous sofware. I received a post card deniying my $30.00 rebate telling me there was no purchase date on the receipt. I kept a copy of the rebate receipt and the purchase date is printed on the bottom. This is not over.

9/10/04 -I sent emails to Symantec customer service complaining of their denial of my 30.00 rebate. They did not respond to any of them. I re-sent a copy of the original receipt (with their idiotic little "denial post card that expired the end of Sept 2004) that has the date of purchase clearly printed on the bottom of the page this time, not the rebate receipt printed by FRY'S Electronics.

I am waiting to see what happends now. If I get another denial, its off to the NV district attorney's office and the office of consumer affairs to file a formal complaint.
