SYMANTEC NORTON ANTIVIRUS rebate ripoff MIAMI Florida
After purchasing nortons antivirus 2004 software, I was told to send a rebate form and proof of purchase to receive a $20 rebate.
After doing so I received a card stating that proof of previous purchase was missing! Orginally nothing was mentioned about requirement of previous purchase in order to receive a rebate.

No Problem With My Symantec Rebates
#2Consumer Suggestion
Tue, April 06, 2004
It surprises me to read that some people have not received rebates from Symantec.
I have applied for and had no problem receiving Symantec rebates at least three times in the last four years. Friends have done the same.
Last year, I purchased Norton AntiVirus 2003. In order to take advantage of the $20.00 mail-in UPGRADE rebate, all I had to do, as explained on the rebate form, was to be a previous owner of any Symantec software product and provide the information requested.
I received the rebate check in approximately seven weeks, which was within the suggested six to eight week time frame.
For anyone interested, this product, or any of several others, can be purchased directly from the Symantec Store with NO MAIL IN REBATE CARD REQUIRED. All offer INSTANT SAVINGS if you are upgrading.
