Purchased Norton Internet Security 2006 on 10/25/05. Rebate of $15.00 was promised if you were updating a from a previous version. I was upgrading from Norton Internet Security 2004.

I filled out the form, enclosed a copy of my receipt, the UPC code from the box and a copy of the 2004 CD and the sticker with the product key on it.

In about 3 weeks I got a letter saying that I did not enclose proof of owning 2004. Again I sent a copy of the front of the CD, the sticker with the product key and a copy of the front of the 2004 User's Guide. This had to be mailed be to a "Re-submissions" address.

I have heard nothing since that time. They offered the rebate to entice you to buy the product and then don't honor it. That's a poor way to do business.
