Symantec, Norton, System Works, Antivirus, Firewall arbitrary denial of valid rebate submission, random excuses listed Ripoff Miami Florida
Sent two rebates on Norton System Works. Sent them using different addresses and names. Received two rebate denials that were completely false.
Both submissions had exactly the same information from two different purchases of the same software.
One said missing proof of purchase, purchase location, receipt.
One said invalid postmark and invalid purchase date. This was the best! The window for purchase was August 2004 and the postmark was February 2006! The receipt showed a February 2005 purchase date and their postcard was sent to me in November 2005.
