Symantec rebate ripoff denied products unfunctional company doesn't respond Miami Florida
I submitted a rebate for Norton AntiVisus update. No where in the rebate form did it say that if it was installed on my computer by the company I purchased it from that the rebate would not be honored. It was bad enough that AntiVirus is included in the SystemWorks so I didn't really even need to have AntiVirus. It was a gift from someone who did not know it was included.
I have never been able to properly install all the Norton programs. I have been told to uninstall and reinstall and have done so six times. Each time I am told a different way to do it and have wasted uncounted hours doing this. I still can not complete a live update. They don't answer my emails.

Don't buy Nortons

Use AVG Virus software. It's free, and does quite a good job. Go to grisoft dot com, and in the search bar, type free. It takes a little finding, but it has a daily update (Nortons is less frequent) and it does an awesome job. Nortons takes up valuable resources.
Then you never have to deal with "1 year subscription" garbage, OR rebates.
