I have worked for them for a few years and they are very frustrating. They NEVER pay on time and they continue to get further and further out (so far always have been paid). There has been a few months where they lost some jobs I did when it came time to pay (keep good records if you choose to work for them). They have some good employees there especially the group that sets up calls and tech support for the most part is good (not enough of them and long waits ARE USUAL). I have been on hold up to an hour with tech support and 20 minutes is not unusual (looks bad to end users when you are sitting in their living room). Communication is poor between departments and some of the employees are pushy. They talk about professionalism from their independent contractors but constantly do not show professionalism from their end. I am only continuing to work for them while I am in school and cannot wait to quit. I worry often that the company is going under and I will not get paid for the work already done (out the gas money already). All this being said I still work for them for a while and the money does eventually get to you (in my experience), and if you can put up with the bad employees (the good ones help make it better), just tell yourself I will get paid eventually and don't count on the money. This is just a warning and I hope you have a better experience if you choose to try them.

Brian not sure why you have an issue with Nick's comment. I do not know Nick, but I agree with everything Nick is saying. That shoud give the public concerns. the issue here is that syntechs does not honor the fact to pay a technicians for work that have successfully done. When a technicians asks questions as to what is the status, I have proof that syntechs staff consistently tell technicians, that check is on the mail to decieve technicians as to think they are getting paid and to keep him running service calls. When months pass and the technician still doesn't get paid, I guess you and Melissa wonder what is the problem?

Analogy: If a person signs an agreement to work for a company full time, do contractual work for a company, consulting work or have any other agreement where they exchange services for money, There is an expectation depending on the contract that at some mutually agreed interval that payment will be exchanged for work that is completed on exchange for service.  In the Syntechs world this is not the case. Syntechs expects technicians to sit quietly and not get paid or maybe get a fraction of what is owed when they feel is necessary (4 months, 6 months, 8 months, who knows)

Brian, I doubt you graduated high school, so this would be over your head to understand. But this is how business ins done in this country. As you like to say "I'm trying to run a business here"

Guys, there are a lot of charities in this country that you can get something some type of good sense of citizinship by volunteering time and efforts depending on what is the cause or goal.  Syntechs in the other hand is not a charity, it is a for profit business, do not put yourself in the wasteful deception and lies of doing they utilize to run their business by taking advantage decent technicians all over this great country of us.

Read and Think about your options is not worth it.

Wow Nick. Nice to attack me personally. You dont know me at all. You dont know any one here personally. Just because you dont understand the contrat you signed does not give you grounds for a lawsuit.

I personally worked for the company for 3 months and never received any payment. After having enough with waiting around on hold doing nothing for 30 minutes to get permision to replace a part I told them they broke their contract for not having payed and I would no longer run any calls. They responded by saying they were charging me 100 per call and more for every call in my area for 30 days. Let's not let this company get away with what they are doing, they do everything in their power not to pay techs and it is not right.

I would like to start a class action lawsuit against this company. If you are an ex employee, have received payment late or anything such as being misled on the expenses (or were charged fees without them documenting each of their expenses.) please email me with the details and first and last name. I wish to get as many people as possible and as much documentation as possible before bringing it before a law firm. (emails and recorded phone calls would be great)(((REDACTED)))

And Brian definitly has no right to be working near humans.
