Complaint Review: T L ENGINEERING P.C.

Dear Everyone,

I hope nobody will be a victim from Simon Lee/ TL engineering.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering gave me very poor services as he liked, and he had gone away

with my money after the huge problem arose because of his very poor service.

Never come back to work, just dissappear! No apology?

Therefore, my renovation work was stopped and lost a great amount of money.

Is there anyone who knows how to take away his license?

I got the first meeting with Simon Lee/ TL engineering, and I provided Simon Lee/ TL engineering about current status, apartment condition(floor, ceiling, & electrocity...), previous drawing, requirment documents from the building mangement, contractor information, sample pictures and design I wanted.

Finally, I made contract with Simon Lee/ TL engineering for NYC Building Department Renovation Work Permit & Approval from Building Management. I made payment $2,000 with check No. 502. Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, " it will take about 6 weeks to get NYC Building Department Renovation Work Permit.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not visit my apartment, but Simon Lee/ TL engineering wanted me to take some pictures for inside unit. Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, "it will be fine without visiting".

Simon Lee/ TL engineering  did not visit my unit.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering explained me about Asbestos Test on the phone.

An Asbestos Testor visited my aprtment.

However, Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not visit my aparment still.

I talked on the phone with Simon Lee/ TL engineering, "I think you need to see my apartment at least once", but Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, " I do not need to go there becuase I have the pictures you gave me".

Simon Lee/ TL engineering sent my building management office about all paper works for NYC Building Department Renovation Work Permit WITHOUT Simon Lee/ TL engineering`s COMPANY SEAL.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering did all paper works with Simon Lee/ TL engineering `s COMPANY SEAL again.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering charged me "Express Mail Fee" even though Simon Lee/ TL engineering made mistake by himself on May 22.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not visit my apartment at all. I wasted my time for 2 weeks.

I called Simon Lee/ TL engineering, " How long should I wait? something wrong for our application?"

Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, "nothing wrong with applicaiton, so please be patient".

I called Simon Lee/ TL engineering, "Any Update?"

Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, "Not yet, but please be patient".

Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not tell me about what is going on? and did not visit my apartment so far.

I called Simon Lee/ TL engineering, "It is very hard situation for me because it has passed more than 2 months".

Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, " still under review, so please wait. There should be no problem".

Eventually, I visited Simon Lee/ TL engineering`s office.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering said, "we need to prepare alternative plan".

It turned out that the first application for NYC Building Department Renovation Work Permit was denied because Simon Lee/ TL engineering filled out with very low esimate price in the renovation paper work.

I got the denial notice from Simon Lee/ TL engineering, and just wasted my time & money.

Therefore, Simon Lee/ TL engineering withdrawed the first application.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering called me, " I applied NYC Building Department Renovation Work Permit with alternative plan". Simon Lee/ TL engineering wanted me to pay filing fee, delivery fee, and all cost. Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not pay any penny, Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not accept his mistake, and Simon Lee/ TL engineering  did not make any apology to me. Still Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not visit my apartment.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering called me, "we got NYC Building Department Renovation Work Permit.

I thought it was one job, but I had to wait more than 3 months because Simon Lee/ TL engineering  made mistake.

It was noted by my building management that Simon Lee/ TL engineering`s drawing had some big issues(problems). My building manager called Simon Lee/ TL engineering, but Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not pick up his phone at many times. NEVER CALL BACK. It shoud be happened becasue Simon Lee/ TL engineering  did not visit my apartment at all, so Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not know how looked likes.. what was going on.... what this renovation should be done.... what he had to do about my apartment.

How could Simon Lee/ TL engineering make NYC Building Renovation Work Permit officially WITHOUT VISITING & MEASURING & LOOKING INTO MY APT? It was an unbelievable situation, and happened to me. It shoul be a night mare in my dream, but it was real world to me.

Terribly, the renovation work had been stopped by building management because of illegal issues. 

I had to make up all costs for contractor, workers, and building engineer.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not visit my apartment & did not take any action to solve this problem.

It was THE FIRST TIME for Simon Lee/ TL engineering to visit my apartment.

It happened to me after I made contract with Simon Lee/ TL engineering on May 6, 2015.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering requested me just about MONEY.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering left my building right away after I rejected to pay any a dolloar.

What money? Simon Lee/ TL engineering saw that everything was mess up.

In my opinion, I cound not pay any cost until all issues were cleared.

Moreover, Simon Lee/ TL engineering never come back to work.

Simon Lee/ TL engineering called me at the court on Sep 22, 2016. 

Why Simon Lee/ TL engineering want money from me?

Simon Lee/ TL engineering did not know what he have done. 

The bottom line is that Simon Lee/ TL engineering is such a money bug without any professional

mind, professional knowledge, professional service, sense of responsibility, and diligence.

I hope that there is no victim like me in the future.
