T-Mobil unauthorized withdrawl from bank account AlbequerqeAlbuquerque New Mexico
On Sept 07 I was notified by my bank that T-mobile had withdrawn $278.00 from my checking account. I contacted their 'customer service' department and was told that they were charging me for a broken RAZOR phone that I didn't return. I gave them the UPS tracking number, was told that the money would be returned with-in 4 hours.
After the money did not show in my account, I again called 'customer service'. They then explained that I had called them and had authorized 'automatic bill payment'. This is something I have never done and never will do. I explained that they had made a mistake and requested that they return my money. I even spoke to the 'customer service rep' Supervisor. After a lenghty discussion, I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I asked the Supervisor for her bosses name and phone number, she refused. I aksed that the Customer Service Department Manager contact me, left my contact information and as of today have heard nothing.
I have since filed claims with the New Mexico Attorney General office, Federal Communication Commission, Bank of America and have had my attorney send them a letter requesting that T-Mobile refund the money the have stolen.
Please be aware of companies that have any of your banking information.
I would have never become a T-Mobile customer had I known that this would occur.
