T-Mobile Early Termination Fee Even Though Contract Period Was Over New York New York

T-mobile has charged me a $215 early termination fee even after my contract period expired. I had specifically selected a one year contract because I did not want to be tied up for two years. After one year, when I changed my cell-phone provider, T-mobil slapped me with a termination fee. When I called them, they claimed that I might've had a two year contract which is simply not true. I did not care to keep the contract documents. Now they are threatening to use a collection agency. Does anyone know if I can do something about it?

Ask T -Mobile to provide you with a copy of your contract. If you signed up for 2 years, you are gonna have to pay the fee. If you only signed up for 1 year, there is not much they can do. Good Luck & next time KEEP ALL CONTRACTS.
