T-Mobile Fraudulent Billing Practices Ripoff Bellevue Washington

I recall recently reading that T-mobile is the recipient of several coveted awards in customer service. That's the primary reason I chose this company as my cell phone provider. However, I've experienced nothing but callousness, impudence, arrogance and indifference in the attitudes of T-mobile employees (from V.P. level down to customer service). On March 17, my T-mobile cell service was suspended because I had exceeded the $150 spending limit. On that same day I lost my phone, and on March
18 I went into a local T-mobile store and purchased a new one. When this phone was activated, my service was restored. On March 19 the service was suspended again-this time due to the fact that the payment was past due I was told.On 3-19 I made a cr. card pymt. of $51.92, and svc. was restored. The svc. rep told me that the service "would be fine for 7 days". On 3-22 the svc.
was interrupted again! When I called John Clelland, V.P. of Mktg. at T-mobile, he advised me to call cust. svc. and that he could not help me.

$150 Spending Limit

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

You mentioned in your post that your phone had been suspended for exceeding the $150 Spending Limit. This sounds like it is a Smart Access Account. These account types have their advantages (having your service interupted before getting a huge bill), but their drawbacks as well. I used to be a supervisor in Smart Access customer care. The $150 spending limit includes and billed amount (whether it is due yet or not), as well as unbilled charges such as minute overage. If you were not near the end of your bill cycle, then it would be difficult to estimate how long your service would stay on, as it is difficult for customer care to estimate your minute usage. One thing you can do is monitor your minute usage and your balance on your phone through the short codes that are offered to you when you call. Hope this helps.
