On 11/9/12, we went to get a new phone service through AT&T because we have never been able to get 4G service through our T Mobile phones.  When we called T-Mobile, we were told that our contract did not expire for 3 days.  We were then told that we would not be charged since it was so close.  So we cancelled and the technican at AT&T ported over our exisiting phone numbers to our new phones.  Our expectation was that we would pay for the T-Mobile service for the two weeks of the billing cycle.  This should have been about 85.00.  Imagine our surprise when we got a bill for 400 dollars.  The people at T-Mobile said we cancelled early so $50 x 4 phones = 200, plus the entire month of phone service.  They refused to reverse anything.  We would have waited the 3 days, but the tech person at T-Mobile had said no problem.  We had the old numbers ported over to the new phones so the service was cancelled.  I have sent them a check for the partial amount.  I am not going to pay the remaining balance.  I am sending them a letter and copying the Corporate Commission and the Better Business Bureau.
